Life Lesson #13 of my first 40 years: Practice the art of patience.
Life Lesson #13 : Practice the art of patience.
We live in a world that doesn’t necessarily reward patience – most things these days are expected NOW – results, growth, rewards, attention from our kids, access, etc. With so many things available to us so quickly, I believe we have lost the appreciation and reality that we still have to practice the art of patience before things will come our way.
That doesn’t mean you become passive, it just means that you continue to put the work in, making adjustments where needed, and that you practice the art of patience along the way – with people at work, with your children/family, with challenges, with all situations and most of all, with yourself.
Some of the greatest things in life take time – trust the process.
