#1 Priority for Being a Great Parent
There are many things that will help a family build the kind of relationships and environment that is necessary to have all members of it become what they are capable of becoming. A strong and healthy family begins with a strong and healthy relationship between the parents. If the primary focus goes to their work, the family suffers. If the primary focus goes the the children, the family suffers. If the primary focus goes to their passions, the family suffers. Not that any of these things aren’t priorities or not important, the point here is that everything starts with the relationship of the parents.
The children will follow and role model the behaviors and relationship they see happening while growing up. Our children are so perceptive and can see, hear, and know alot of what is going on, so it is best to stay focused on creating a healthy relationship within the parent relationship to ensure the children are learning the in’s/out’s of a quality relationship.
Choosing to lead the family with love is the only way to create the nurturing environment for all members to thrive. When everyone is committed to loving each other through thick and thin, the level of quality communication goes up, and understanding and appreciation are the standard. As the parents consistently follow these patterns it creates an extremely healthy dynamic for the entire family.
