What I Have Learned – #43 (July 2023)
I have learned that having a dog as part of our family has taught us valuable and priceless life lessons about patience, obedience, care for others, nurturing, separation, excitement, unconditional love, and life/death.
I have learned to always be searching for and open to finding new teachers along my journey.
I have learned to just do what needs to be done.
I have learned that the approach of investing in low-cost index funds is the simplest, easiest, and least stressful way to create financial freedom.
I have learned that a person or family can borrow money for school/education, but you can’t borrow money for retirement.
I have learned that I get to keep every limitation for myself that I fight for.
I have learned that it is critical to first win a person’s heart before asking for their hands.
I have learned that in order for me to win it doesn’t mean that someone else has to lose.
I have learned that just taking action solves a lot of the issues or challenges.
I have learned to not allow popular opinions to dictate my personal decisions.
