What I Have Learned – #55 (July 2024)

I have learned to do what I have to do now to create the freedom to do what I want to do in the future.

I have learned that if you want to know how much money you need for financial independence take your annual expenses/spending and multiply that number by 25.

I have learned that when people show me who they really are through their words and actions, believe them.

I have learned that a lack of accountability in any job or role in life only leads to unfavorable outcomes.

I have learned that human beings cannot dislike themselves into being healthier.

I have learned that the media and politicians really do think we are not smart enough to make decisions based off of what we see and hear on our own.

I have learned that one’s feelings most often don’t tell them the truth.

I have learned that self-discipline is one of the greatest forms of self-love.

I have learned that I cannot change the story of what has happened, but I can change the story of what happens next.

I have learned that I get in life what I accept.
